Our Panel of Experts
Rachael Jurek is a full-time lecturer in the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee Journalism & Mass Communication department. She leads courses in strategic communication research, writing and campaigns. She has also taught event management. She was an adjunct at Mt. Mary College where she taught courses in public relations, mass media, and persuasive communication.
Linda Menck is the Professional in Residence in the Diederich College of Communication’s Department of Advertising & Public Relations at Marquette University. She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in Digital Design, Visual Communication, Advertising Copywriting, Advertising Campaigns, and Graphic Design. Most recently Menck has developed new courses in Social Media and Digital Storytelling. Both of these courses are required to earn a graduate certificate in Marquette’s new Digital Storytelling Certificate Program.
Michael Phelps is the VP of Research and LinkedIn Trainer of Phelps
Research Services -- a comprehensive business intelligence research firm with headquarters in Madison, WI. He has won several awards for LinkedIn training, creative candidate sourcing as a recruiter and best practice sharing. He has taught hundreds of business development professionals, marketers, recruiters, job seekers, legal professionals and researchers how to navigate and master the world’s most powerful professional networking site.
Tom Snyder is Founder, and CEO of Trivera Interactive. Trivera helps clients realize the potential of the Web as a powerful brand building tool. Before founding Trivera, Tom spent over a decade in broadcasting, working both behind the microphone and behind the scenes for several Milwaukee radio stations and finally as marketing director for an international broadcast software firm.
Kevin Waldvogel, the panelist moderator, is a graduate from UW Stout with a degree in printing. He has used social media throughout his sales career and offers help to his clients with social media related questions and printing needs.
